Tom Middleton
Emotional, melodic and inspirational, this ambitious chillout CD is indeed a sublime soundtrack. Tom describes this very personal project, saying, “Eno and Vangelis are big inspirations, but you'll pick up references to romantic impressionist and soundtrack composers such as Ravel, Debussy, Satie, Ennio Morricone, Thomas Newman, John Williams and Craig Armstrong. In the same breath, I'd name the likes of electronica artists Zero 7, Air, Massive Attack and The Orb. Additionally, the music is fused with the melody and emotion of U2, The Police and Prince. Classical, Electronica, Jazz and Pop- these are all clues to my musical personality and apparent subconscious influences.”
